At Wrigley Field Saturday night, Dennis Rodman presented Pearl Jam lead vocalist Eddie Vedder with… something strange. To be fair, the gesture had sentimental value: Rodman played with the Chicago Bulls from ’95 to ’99 and Vedder is a lifelong fan of the Cubs–they both have huge connections to the Windy City.
The gift itself? A ukulele.
In true Rodman fashion, however, the gift-giver made it all about himself: “There are two groups of people who have always supported me – North Korea and Chicago.” Maybe Pearl Jam can add Pyongyang to its tour?
