McHappy Day is a one-day fundraiser organized by McDonald’s Canada and its independent franchisees where a portion of proceeds from all food and beverage menu items go to RMHC and other local children’s charities. The funds raised on McHappy Day go directly towards providing essential support to families staying with RMHC across Canada including accommodations, food, mental health and wellness support, and so much more while their child is receiving medical treatment.

There’s lots of easy ways to participate and make an impact on families in your community:
- Every purchase all day on Thursday, May 8, supports families with sick or injured children staying with RMHC, and other local children’s charities. This even includes purhcases made at the Drive-Thru, through the McDonald’s app or ordering McDelivery® via the McDonald’s app, DoorDash, SkipTheDishes and UberEats. All day on May 8, $0 delivery fee* will be offered on all McDelivery orders across Canada, available through the McDonald’s app, DoorDash, SkipTheDishes, and UberEats.
- Round Up your order! Rounding up is an easy way for Guests to support families with sick or injured children staying with RMHC across Canada on McHappy Day. Available at the Drive-Thru, Kiosk and Front Counter, guests can Round Up their order total to the nearest dollar and donate the difference to RMHC in support of local communities.
- Purchase this year’s McHappy Day socks for $6+tax in four different designs featuring McDonaldland characters, either in-restaurant, at the Drive-Thru, through McDelivery or via the McDonald’s app.
