Laugh in the New Year at Massey Hall with the New Year’s Eve Comedy Extravaganza! Curated by Yuk Yuk’s founder Mark Breslin, the 17th annual New Year’s event will be hosted by Tony Award-winning comedy legend Robert Kleinand features a cast of hilarious comedians including headliner Pete Johansson as well as Kyle Brownrigg, Maggie Cassella, Shannon Laverty, Dylan Mandlsohn, Tyler Morrison, Michael Moses and Alex Wood. The evening will wrap well before the stroke of midnight, allowing your funny-fueled celebrations to continue.
Considered a pioneer of stand-up comedy, for more than forty years, multiple award-winning comedian Robert Klein has entertained audiences, and he continues to appear on Broadway, on television, and in film. Klein was a member of the famed “Second City” theatrical troupe in Chicago and in 1975, he was the first comedian to appear in a live concert on HBO. Among dozens of starring and guest‐starring roles on television, he has made more than 100 appearances on “The Tonight Show” and “Late Show with David Letterman” alone and has also appeared in many notable films including “The Owl and the Pussycat,” “How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days,” and “The Back‐Up Plan.”
