TORONTO’S PICKLE OBSESSION HITS A NEW LEVEL WITH PICKLEFEST 2026
Now in its fourth year, Toronto’s ultimate ode to brine returns October 3–4 with 7,500+ pickle lovers, 20+ new vendors, competitions and family-friendly fun at Henderson Brewing Co.
Pickle lovers, foodies and the pickle-curious have a new October ritual: Picklefest Toronto returns for its fourth year on Saturday, October 3 and Sunday, October 4 at Henderson Brewing Co. This year brings the festival’s biggest vendor lineup yet, a slate of new activations and no shortage of “pickle porn” — two days of briny, fermented, thoroughly Instagrammable fun.
The Pickle Party is more Picklier than Ever
What started in Toronto has become a genuine national phenomenon. Founded by brothers Adin and Eli Wener, Picklefest Canada has carried its celebration of all things pickled and fermented coast to coast, with festivals now running in five cities and more on the way next year. This fourth Toronto edition is the biggest yet — set on an expanded footprint, with more staff, shorter lines, and more partners and vendors than any year before it.
The 2026 national tour is backed by a growing roster of partners, including Dished as national media partner, alongside Putter’s Pickles, Matt & Steve’s and Solly’s Craft Soda. In Toronto, local partners include Henderson Brewing Co., Long Drink, Cuervo, Farm Boy, Bernardin, Spy Cider, Heinz, Kuhne and Baseline Pickleball.
The lineup is bigger than ever with 20+ new vendors, featuring Chef Charlotte Langley, Shake Shack, Elm Street Deli, Romi’s, Bindi’s Burgers, Barque Smokehouse, Island Oysters, Jimmy John’s and more, alongside a strong showing from Toronto’s favourite pickle and fermentation makers. Many booths are run directly by their owners, giving guests the rare chance to meet the makers, hear the stories behind their products and discover new favourites firsthand.
Exclusives for Picklefest Toronto
Picklefest has never been a typical food festival. This year’s highlights include Mamajoun’s Pickle Pizza, Moon Milk’s Pickle Banana Split, pickles on a stick and a long list of creative pickle-inspired bites — best summed up, in the festival’s own words, as “the CNE meets a farmers market, without the rides.”
New and exclusive to Toronto in 2026 is a Brine Drinking Competition, inspired by the wildly popular event at Picklesburgh, plus live tattooing from an on-site artist. And because Picklefest is a family- and dog-friendly affair, a dedicated kids’ zone and doggie playground will keep the whole crew entertained.
Back for its fourth year is the Show Us Your Pickle competition, sponsored by Putter’s. The contest invites home picklers to compete across five categories, with winners vying for a $1,000 grand prize — celebrating everything from traditional dill and naturally fermented pickles to spicy, wildly creative concoctions.
Throughout the weekend, guests can vibe to two DJs and live bands, and a digital “pickle yourself” experience. Every ticketed guest also takes home a Welcome Tote stocked with free pickle goodies.
With an estimated 7,500 to 8,000 attendees expected over two days, Picklefest has grown into a true celebration of the food, the makers and the cultural traditions behind pickling and fermentation.
