Grace, 2 returns with the 5th Annual “Gord Downie & Chanie Wenjack Fundraiser”!
Over the last four years, this event has helped us raise over $81,000 for the Downie Wenjack
Fund. This is the year we plan to hit our milestone goal of $100,000 in total donations.
A massive thank you to all The Tragically Hip fans who have come out to support this event over
the years. on October 15-17, we will once again come together at the Legendary
Horseshoe Tavern to celebrate the band and honour Gord Downie’s legacy.
Gord asked us all to “do something,” and together, we are.

On Friday, October 16th and Saturday, October 17th, we are once again taking over
the legendary Horseshoe Tavern for two incredible nights of music, community, and
purpose. We are coming together to celebrate the band and honour Gord Downie’s
legacy by supporting two phenomenal causes: the Gord Downie & Chanie Wenjack
Fund and cancer research.
Night 1: Friday, October 16th – The Downie Wenjack Fund

Night 2: Saturday, October 17th – GEDFest
The Gord Edward Downie Festival (GEDFest) is the largest Canada-wide fundraiser for
cancer research in Gord’s memory. Marking its 9th year, GEDFest has rallied the nation
to donate an astounding $732,000 to cancer charities since 2018. Let’s keep that
momentum going.
