Described as “Canadian rock ‘n’ roll royalty”, a national treasure, and a living legend– Burton Cummings has always been one constant: he remains true to himself and his own way of rock.

With Canada’s original superstars, The Guess WhoBurton Cummingsscored an unprecedented string of international hit singles and albums including “These Eyes”, “American Woman”, “Share The Land”, “Hang On To Your Life”, “Albert Flasher”, “Sour Suite”, “Orly, Glamour Boy”, “Star Baby”, “Clap For The Wolfman” and “Dancin’ Fool”, all written or co-written by Burton Cummings . By 1970, The Guess Who had sold more records than the entire Canadian music industry combined to that point! The group notched up a long list of firsts including the first Canadian group to reach Number One on the Billboard Charts (holding that spot for three weeks) and the first to earn a platinum album for sales of over 1 million copies in the US.

Burton Cummings has continued his success since striking out on his own in 1976.  In 2012, he released his first ever live solo album “Massey Hall” and the Canadian icon continues to tour and play in venues across Canada.

Burton Cummings is a member of the Canadian Music Hall of FameCanadian Songwriters Hall of FameCanadian Music Industry Hall of FameCanadian Walk of FameCanadian Music Industry Hall of Fameand Prairie Music Hall of Fame. He has won multiple Juno Awards, is a recipient of the Order of Canada, the Order of Manitoba, the Governor-General’s Performance Arts Award, and several Broadcast Music Industry awards. In short, Burton Cummings is one of the most celebrated rock artists in Canadian music history and he’s got the award shelf to prove it!
