Allied Technical Solutions (ATS) announced today that it will be hosting its annual Hat-Trick for Humanity fundraiser on February 6 & 7, 2020, in pursuit of their total biennial fundraising goal of $50K, in support of the SickKids Foundation. This outdoor, three-on-three hockey tournament will be located at their head office in Scarborough and played on a custom-made rink. Players & attendees will include construction industry professionals such as engineers, architects, mechanical contractors & plumbing manufacturers. As a Canadian-owned and operated company, connecting to the cause of the foundation was a natural fit. “SickKids Hospital is a world-renowned institution,” said William Petro, President of ATS, “and as a parent, I feel so lucky to have access to the hospital & its services. We know that our clients and partners feel the same way and are happy to show their support for the cause with our fundraising event. ” Historically a one-day event, ATS decided to add another day to the charity fundraiser to accommodate the increased demand for teams. “Our industry has wholeheartedly embraced the
cause and we are only too happy to oblige. What’s better than a day of hockey? TWO days of
hockey!” Petro remarked. ATS welcomes spectators to partake in the fun. The purchase of a non-player entry ticket grants access to unlimited food, drinks and the opportunity to watch competitive hockey games. Onsite games, as well as a raffle prize draw will make this a fun local event for the whole family.
