The Wonder Stuff–“The Stuffies” to their fans–came out of the English midlands in the late 80s with some fun, cheeky power-pop type songs. Led by singer Miles Hunt, they had a substantial amount of chart success in the UK and were darlings on certain alt-rock radio stations in Canada. Toronto was a hotbed of Stuffies support. They also became fast friends with Spirit of the West.
I dare you to listen to this song–a single from their second album, Hup–and not sing along with the chorus.
