One of the LOUDEST bands I’ve ever heard was Sugar, the Bob Mould project that followed the dissolution of Husker Du. But it was worth it because Sugar’s debut album, Copper Blue, was a fantastic slab of guitars and distortion that nevertheless was able to support a singable melody.
