If there’s one thing Canadians know is that you don’t mess with a Canada goose. They can be found everywhere. In fact, there’s probably one in your house right now.
Dave Grohl was once beaten up by one of our geese. Someone enticed to play some hockey on a frozen lake. The puck skidded off somewhere and Dave went after it. However, in doing so, he managed to disturb a Canada goose. According to Dave, the goose then proceeded to “kick ass.” Dave tried to get away, but he kept slipping and falling on the ice. The entire time, the goose was squawking, pecking, and headbutting him.
Dave Grohl learned that day never to mess with a Canada goose. There’s a reason they’re called “cobra chickens.”
