Here’s another example of how deep the Canadian talent pool is. Tony Billings was once part of a Hamilton band from the 80s called The Academics who toured nationally and through the UK. But despite being so close, they were unable to take the next big step. And although Tony moved on to a civilian job, music remained in his blood. Now he has some time and money to make some pro recordings of songs that have been building up.
In the last coupe of years, he’s released two albums of new and old songs. Another album is on the way. It’ll sound something like this. Cool video, too.
