Rush’s Geddy Lee and Alex Lifeson have announced a long-awaited reunion tour for 2026, their first since 2015’s R40 tour and their first performances since drummer Neil Peart’s passing in 2020. Titled The Fifty Something Tour, the run will celebrate Peart’s life and the band’s enduring legacy. In a statement, Lee reflected on returning to Rush’s music after more than a decade, describing it as “a lifetime’s worth of songs” created with their late bandmate. The tour will kick off in June 2026 and wrap in September, with stops in Los Angeles, Mexico City, Fort Worth, Chicago, New York, Toronto, and Cleveland. Drummer Anika Nilles, personally chosen by Lee after an inspiring jam session, will join the lineup, bringing a fresh energy to the band’s sound. Fans can expect a mix of classic hits, deep cuts, and rumored guest appearances from rock icons. Peart’s widow and daughter have given their blessing to the tour, calling it a fitting tribute to his memory.
