The Sheepdogs Share the Stories Behind Their Best Tour Moments with Bryan Adams

Bryan Adams has worked with the likes of Tina Turner, Sting, and Rod Stewart but the loudest voice he’s ever heard belongs to The Sheepdogs’ frontman, Ewan Currie. “He referred to him as being a foghorn,” laughs bassist Ryan Gullen. “I took it as a compliment,” Currie says proudly.

The Sheepdogs are currently on tour with Adams, and working alongside him has given them the chance to really connect. The guys aptly call him a “superstar,” but say it’s easy to forget who he is because of his low-key vibe backstage: no entourage, just walking around, hanging out, and taking the time to get to know them.

When asked by host Maura if there’s a song by another artist that The Sheepdogs wish they had written, Currie says, “hundreds of them!” At the top of that list includes what he recalls as, “the 16th highest-grossing song of all time.” Everything I Do by Bryan Adams.

While on the topic of wishing, Currie shares that he once joked with Adams that he “wished he had his bank account.” The response was quick and true: “Ya, you do!”

Don’t we all?
