“Post-punk” seems to be a descriptor that’s on the rise when it comes to new English bands. English Teacher, a four-piece from Leeds, seems to be racing to the front of the back when it comes to buzz bands these days. They’ve only been around for a couple of years and have one EP–the lovely-named Polyawkward–and a coupe of singles to their name.
Fun fact: The EP’s title is derived from the word “polyorchid,” which is the medical term for having more than two testicles. Aren’t you glad stopped by today?
