Divorce, a four-piece from Nottingham, says that they’re an “alt-country/grunge(ish) band,” which is an interesting description. (They’ve also said that they have the cryogenically frozen body of Michael Buble in their fridge, too, so they have a sense of humour.) The group features plenty of hyphenated names: vocalists Tiger Cohen-Towell and Felix Mackenzie-Barrow, and guitarist Adam Peter-Smith. Only drummer Kasper Sandstrom is un-hyphenated.
They’ve been around since 2021 and have played a series of low-key but well-received and sold-out gigs in England. Watch for a debut album entitled Drive to Goldenhammer on March 7.
